Adam is hands down one of the best drummers I've ever had the pleasure of jamming with. From rock to jazz to funk, legit… he can do it all with ease. But what really sets him apart is his work ethic and genuine personality. He's the kind of guy you want to have in your corner, both on and off the stage. If you haven't had the chance to play or record with Adam yet, you're seriously missing out on a top-notch musician and an all-around awesome dude. He’s first class all the way. Adam is quite possibly the most talented drummer I've ever worked with, and I've played with quite a few. Lucidity of ideas and subtlety of touch are his hallmarks, and I'm frequently flabbergasted by some amazing fill or rhythmic change-up that comes seemingly out of nowhere and yet fits in perfectly with the material. He shines when tackling full-on rockers, very quiet dappled brushwork, or complicated syncopated patterns. He's also a great student of a song, really listening closely to get inside its head. Some drummers are about showing off for the sake of flashiness. Adam is all about doing what's right for the song, making it the best and brightest version of itself it can possibly be. I have known Adam Stranburg for 18 years. I've played in many different situations with him, and he is always at the top of his game and more professional than most people I've played with in the last 55 years.
